So heading across to Le Mans on the ferry next week and realised that I still don't know how to lock the car without setting the alarm. irked Travelled to Spa last year and after a fruitless search in the terminal carpark and another in the bowels of the ferry, I ended up levering off the lock cover in desperation and just locking it on the key.

The manual says there is a button on the side panel behind the drivers seat to disable the alarm when using the remote fob but the location shown in the manual definitely isn't right for my car. Anyone got any ideas? Or am I limited to using the manual lock again.

I'd be tempted to just ignore the requirement to disable the alarm but when I did that in my 360, they put out cringeworthy tannoys for the ferrari owner to return to the car deck, as the first wave had set the alarm off. Like to avoid that again if possible smile

I've had the same problem, except I called Lambo London from the ferry. Apparently the buttons that are refered to in the manual are for an optional alarm upgrade that was almost never fitted. I was advised to just lock the car as normal.

My car has since been to Santander from Portsmouth twice and a rather rough crossing over to the isle of man last week. Every time its been locked as normal and I've had no problems.

Good to know I'm not missing anything obvious then!

Will just lock it and hope for the best - cheers.
