Full line up in today's NME

Just about every big indie band of 2004 are listed.

Good news is that rumours of this lottery nonsense for tickets are now quashed.

Its going to work in exactly the same way it did in 2004 with named tickets. Hopefully this time though BT wont lose the node that the call centre is connected to.

Tickets on sale April.

I CANT WAIT!!

My daughter loved it last year and is gutted that she can't go this year because of her A levels.

U2 are unfortunately not going to be playing.

Which is a right arse because I still havent managed to see them live ever.

Lineup off the top of me head.

Zutons
Killers
Franz Ferdinand
Keane
Chems
The Coral
The Music

and loads loads more...

I went in 95. Got some pikey scouser put LSD in my drink. It was a rather odd evening to say the least. I was OK though, I learned how big my mind was and it's huge! Very mystical to say the least.

I'm totally anti drugs, totally nothing. However the Glastonbury on LSD was a seminal moment in my life.

Maybe if we have a few more coming we could have a PHers area?

We tried to meet up last year.

Unfortunately I am not entirely sure where I was. Molly was in the stone circle having a conversation about the 'underground troll people' or similar and I am not sure about everyone else...

This is the thing with Glasto, its just so easy to get sidetracked for days at a time...

About £120

Which seems like a lot but where else in one day can you see Radiohead, Coldplay, Lemon Jelly, The Chemical Brothers etc etc

Then theres another 2 days!!

Best place on earth for 4 days a year...

It was I think about 110 squid last year when I went. It was great although I did come away with a slight falafel addiction. And a need to go on a detox.

Heres a question - I have the option of borrowing a mates camper van for it. We used this last year and it was handy, but does it mean you miss out on the true experience?

Never done it, we have for the last two years waivered over renting a 6 berth full on gin palace for the 5 days.

You used to be able to camp next to the vans but I think they want to discourage this and there are a load of us that go (43 in 2000) so it means the group gets split up so on that basis we have never bothered.

The concept of a shower and a toilet does appeal though, especially if its anything like 97/98

Its to give the ground a rest, its a fallow year.

Hes going to build a reservoir apparently.

Its every 5 years, there wasnt one in 2001 to build the super fortress fence and there wasnt one in '96 to sort out mains water.

When they open the Glastonbury Ritz Carlton I might consider it.
