Lupo light conversions.?
Discussion
Replacing the old light for new items will give you an improvement as the silvering dulls over time. Light fittings with clear lenses and the beam pattern on the reflector bowl tend to make more efficient use of the light produced.
Also fitting new bulbs would give an improvement as incandescent bulbs degrade from first use.
A set of Osram Nightbreaker Ultimate would be the cheapest, simplest first step.
Ultimately, you'll be resticted by the lumen output of the bulbs fitted. Doesn't matter how good the wiring or light fitting is if the bulb produces 1000lm then 1000lm is what you'l get. Off the top of my head the Osram bulbs above are 1500lm
LED bulbs are now producing in the region of 3000lm each which is more than enough for road use. Check out Chimpongas' thread about LED headlights. Worth a read.
Finally, if you do fit the Lupo light fittings - which I think would suit the Cerb - don't fit the smoke lenses as this will cut down the light output.

Personally, I prefer LED to HID as the LEDs run cooler, draw less current/power (a positive for TVR wiring) and respond instantly.
Assuming you have H4 bulbs in the Cerb, I'd start with a set of Osram bulbs - £15 to £20 off the bay of evils.

Osram Nightbreakers are good, CREE LED Bulbs are even better, and much more efficient (which as previously mentioned is a big plus for TVR electrics).I have Xlamp MT-G2 fitted in my car and they are particularly good on Low Beam. Perhaps Hi Beam could be better, but they are still much better than the 100W halogens that were fitted to my car when I bought it.
