Today I booked the Wedge at Bespoke Performance for a health check and possible UJ replacement. I have lost all faith in local mechanics in my area and want the job done properly and not by some local cowboy. I drove the car there today and left it there for the work to be carried out. So, right now, I'm Wedgeless. There was also another Wedge there almost identical to mine. A red 400SE. I think it was a customers car. They have some really nice TVR's for sale there. I hope to get the car back next week but at least I know it's in safe hands.

And Tony; when you pick her up, you can always say to them that the car was "always on my mind" even though past experience with local garages have left you with "suspicious minds", but then you can head off home and have "a little less conversation"

That other one would of been mine in for its annual MOT / fettle. I have been using Bespoke for years. I can highly recommend them and I am sure it will be in safe hands. Nice bunch of guys.

Well, the Wedge is away and the sun is shining. Withdrawal symptoms are setting in, so I've had to take out the reserve motor to use for now, while the sun is still shining. This V8 is limited to 155mph and accelerates sub 6 seconds but it will do. It's a hard life biggrin

The Wedge is back. Both nearside UJ's replaced. No hassle, no fuss. Just excellent workmanship and fast. What can I say except that Bespoke give excellent service. No more local cowboys for me. I want my Wedge in good hands. They'll see me again, let's just hope not too soon.

I used to take my previous TVR to TVR in Arkley until they moved. It wasn't until I saw your Wedge at Bespoke recently when you posted on this forum that it reminded me of them, because they are the same people. Then I ran into some local cowboy mechanics with my recent UJ problem, who reckon they know about these cars but they really don't. That prompted me into looking up Bespoke. They are convenient for me too, so from now on I know where to take it.

Mmmm Yes, but make no mistake, it goes like it's butt's on fire. In sport mode, it'll give most TVR's a run for their money.

Only kidding, amazing piece of kit. I did have it on the short list a couple of years back. Scared of the bills when those electrics went wonky so chose the sensible option and bought a Maserati. Hahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahaha oops.

Ditto..have been taking my TVRs to Martin and the gang since 2003 when they were indeed The TVR Centre in Arkley.
They have always looked after my cars superbly and certainly know their stuff. Good choice Tony. thumbup
