oil pressure sensor?

Hi all, sorry if this is a silly question but been to see Colin today at TVRSSW and he said I have an oil leak from the oil sender (I think that's what he called it but had forgotten). i've added a pic I found, but just wondered is there a washer of any kind on there I can replace as the reading on the dash is fine so don't want to by a new sender if its just a washer. Im pretty sure this is what he pointed to. Thanks in advance.

No washer, it's tapered thread so should self-seal when tight. The senders themselves can be a bit 'porous'

clean up the area, then just tighten the sender a little (17mm spanner), that's all you might need to do

Hi all, so an update ive managed to take a picture of the offending item. sorry should have done this first. hope someone can dentify it.

That looks like the oil pressure switch, illuminates low oil pressure light.
Screw in switch, standard rover item.
