I know this is posted here but I figured not all the arty types would check out the computer forums.

Basically, I have an image of a bike frame that is yellow and I need it red before I add it to our website. I know there is a simple way to change this but how do I do it?

You first need to mask off the frame of the bike from the rest of the picture. Then just go to channel mixer

IMAGE - ADJUST - CHANNEL MiXER

and play around with the levels till you get the colour you want.

Easiest way, for me at least, is to select the area with the lassoo or magic wand tool and then use Image -> Adjustments -> Hue/Saturation, Colour Balance, Broghtness/Contrast etc. and tweak until it looks decent. Then maybe the Dodge or Burn tool to sort out any highlights or anything that looks a bit dodgy after the colour change.
