Morning all,

I need to source some nespresso related gifts for someone. I was thinking some of the pod things, maybe a selection.

Those of you who use them at the moment, do you have any good sources, or should I just pop to the supermarket?

thanks

You can't buy Nespresso capsules in a supermarket, unless your supermarket is John Lewis. There are a few outlets you can buy them from, but really their website is the best place.

As Tom said - Nespresso pods aren't available in shops. Even places that sell the machines (John Lewis etc) can't sell the pods.

If you can get to London, there is a Nespresso boutique in Leicester Square - but your best bet is Nespresso website. They have loads of accessories and gift sets.

Does it have to be Nespresso branded? I have always loved these espresso cups:

You can get a gift set of those in John Lewis with one of each colour.

Ah great, thanks for the info! I never knew any of that!

I'm just after what you'd call a stocking filler, so a selection of the pods or something similar.

I'll check the nespresso site.

Brand isn't important really (are there other bands which work with the machines?)

There are other brands - but none as good. The best alternative is Lidl and a box of Lidl pods wont be a great stocking filler.

I'd suggest something like this:

Nespresso-compatible pods are suddenly available all over the place. M&S do a selection, and even Tesco have got in on the act.

Nespresso got told off in the French courts for trying to stop others selling or making compatible pods.

I think a new offer starts today where you buy a Nespresso machine and get a voucher for a good few pods.

I was in John Lewis today and the machines have up to £75 of vouchers - now I know why!

Word of warning its £25 x3, so you have to buy about £50 each time to avoid postage charges. Still a good deal.

If you want to avoid the postage charge (or the fun of dealing with Yodel), go into one of their stores and you can use the credit there.
