interior refresh questions

Have finally bitten the bullet and booked car in for an interior refresh .Popped to Dave the trimmer a while back on presumption of getting front seats and centre console recovered .Car now goes in on Monday coming for seats ,centre console, complete carpet set and a brand new hood. The reason for the post is that I intend if all goes to plan to take the body off this winter or early next year .With this in mind do you think its worth while getting little flaps cut in carpet to assist access to chassis bolts ??? Having never done body off previously relying on other peoples experiences if they are kind enough to share them.
Is there is anything else I should possibly get done at same time ?

Ref my previous boot access post, with the 2 upper chassis bolts located just in front of the centre consul, I measured down the sort of channel you can see with the consul removed to get the exact position and cut an 'L' shaped flap with a very sharp knife to prevent fraying. You can feel the bolt head in the carpet depression. With a bit of tape behind it won't be seen.
The other bolts heads i was able to expose with careful lifting of the carpet and insulation without any carpet damage. Not too much glue maybe i was lucky! They are in decent condition and will be just stuck back down on completion.
