Hi,decided to fit nitrons and new springs.
Basically, I can't get the lower bolt out of the existing damper mount.socket too big, spanner too big. Will a 19 mm ring spanner do the job?? Help very much appreciated!! bangheadbangheadT350 front suspension.

I've just done this, I believe open ended spanner and socket on the other end was the answer. Bit of a pain in the arse but doable with a decent tool set. One of the suspension bolts is a weird size however, 16mm?

you just need skinny open spanners

it is a bit fiddly though

decent sized flat bladed screwdriver wedged in between the nut and the wishbone, undo with socket on the bolt head.

Well,I got the 40mm nitrons 400/350lbs per inch springs fitted.A slim 19 mm ring spanner from Halfords cheapest range did the job(it's 1/2 inch UNF,so normally 3/4 AF spanner, but too big).
Set up with shocks 10 off maximum stiffness.
What can I say,but REVOLUTIONARY!
Less jarring, more comfortable, stiffer round corners, better off the line, amazing.
