kangarooing 3.2 carrera

My 85 Carrera has recently developed an infuriating kangarooing at very light throttle up to about 3k revs. I have tried running on Optimax 98Ron but with no joy. The tick over has always been uneven since i bought it but this is a new development.

Any advice/ suggestions would be much appreciated

Is it an Australian import? Maybe if you "put a tiger in your tank" it'll eat the kangaroo!

Sorry, bad joke, but can only guess at the real cause of your problem - fuel control or ignition. Does that model have an airflow meter, a frequent source of dodgy fueling issues?
