Our group have some old videos from 2005-2007 era but haven't done much filming in more recent years. The quality of your video was great, it's making me want to get a video camera. What do you have and what software do you use to edit it?

Nice! I had to chuckle at the unexpected get together with the Gendarme on the motorbike....there but for the grace of God and all that is what most would say who do the trip, and who also suffer occasional boredom on the autoroute

N+I am not the OP but if you want to get into editing Windows Movie Maker is a perfectly respectable bit of software for video editing - it will teach all the basics, is fine for these kind of projects, and best of all is completely free.

You should already have it installed if you are using a PC, but if not:

Thanks for all the great comments gents. Really glad you all enjoyed it!

I try not film too much whilst I'm not working, as it's sort of a bus mans holiday otherwise. So I just shoot it all handheld with my DSLR and Gopro hero 2, some of it is even iphone footage. I cut it in a day last Sunday on Final Cut Pro 7. But you can use any editing software and you'd get the same film.

Any other hints and/or tips I'd be happy to help.

Come say hi if you're on TL campsite this year. We'll have a white Golf R and blue Maserati Gransport among a few BMWs on our pitch.

Unfortunately some of our group have had to pull out. We have 2x GE and 3x grandstand(covered opposite the pits) seats for sale. Decent offers accepted. Collection at circuit.
