Ls2 exhaust on to ls1 headers

Went and bought a bargain ls2 Monaro cobra exhaust on flea bay, done it without much thought tbh, new I would have to have some work done on it to fit the ute but was hoping it just needed making a bit longer.
However it's pretty obvious that I can't fit it to the downpipes on mine, any ideas what to do next please?

Just take it to somewhere that can make exhaust parts and tell them to make it fit.

That was my first thought lol!
My now thought is to cut up some ls2 downpipes and weld them on the my ones, thus creating the extra length needed to reach the cat back.
Anyone got a good picture of ls2 downpipes to cat back for me to look at please?
