Before I buy a Cube SL Road Race anyone any suggestions for something different. The Cube ticks all my boxes, dont want drop bars or a race bike & already have a full sus & hardtail cube hence first thought to stick to brand. Going to be used on road & occational gravel just as a fitness bike.

Thanks

Mr Will

Have you ridden something with drop bars yet or are you dismissing them because they are funny looking? On long rides they are far more comfortable than flat bars because of the variety of positions they offer.

saw a Rose flat bar roadie the other day...looked nice. I would also think about a light steel bike, maybe Cotic or another British brand...nice bikes.

Looks like a low rent copy of a Kinesis Pro 6 frameset.

I've just bought the frameset... Really bugs me that the headtube logo isn't central vertically!

Lovin my London Road smile Flat bar makes sense cos you can have fantastic cheap Shimano hydros.

eta The half price silver ones look much better in the flesh, and the logos blend in a bit more wink
