Here's my annual post since it's that time of year again!

The past 3 years, I've picked up tickets..it's taken hours every single year and I hadn't learnt until this year when I thought I'd get E-tickets.

I'm a bit concerned about the printing, obviously these are of great importance so I want to make sure I get it right!

I've printed the tickets without fitting to page, which it said shouldn't be done, but the top of ticket has been chopped off (about 2mm), no change to the bar code though. The text on the ticket is ineligible, but that's the same when I look at it on my screen because it's so tiny. The main text and bar code do appear to be fine.

I'm panicking since we leave 3am Wednesday morning, any help would be appreciated!

I went for convenience also but do have concerns about the durability of the tickets being printed onto A4 paper.

I've printed multiple A4 copies just in case one set gets ruined, especially with wet weather forecast.

I have also produced a different version. I have cut the ticket section out and produced a laminated ticket. I have no idea if they will accept this but it's really practical and durable. The barcodes the important bit so it shouldn't make any odds.

Going to have printed copies at hand though should things get all shoulder shruggy and non non non!

It does seem a bit daft and impractical to have to keep the ticket as A4.

When I printed from the iPad, it filled the whole of the A4 sheet with the ticket.

So how big should it be ?

The cut down and laminated e-tickets worked a treat.

Fitted nicely into the lanyard holders also and nicely waterproof.

And not even one double look from a steward at them. I was fairly surprised I didn't need to explain or produce the full print outs. To the point I think if I had a group of 100 cars going we could have photocopied the one parking pass and everyone could have used them!

So the parking passes were not unique ?
Would be very surprised if that was the case.
Then why Scan each car when going out then ?

Didn't get scanned once for parking where I was, going in or out.

Just held up the ticket and they had a little look from a distance. Certainly not enough to read details.

Pretty much the same on the grandstand other than seeing it was for the correct stand. Someone with a copy would have just hoped to find an empty seat or stand up.
