Hi All

Does anyone know anything about Giants Maestro suspension?

I have a 2013 Giant Trans X0 29er. Brilliant bike buts it's recently developed a creak. Sounds like a grit in the head set or a dodgy seat post clamp type creak but it's not as I've stripped the bike and rebuilt it tonight and it's still creaking.

I've stripped the Maestro rear end and about 50% of the bearings are toast! So I've ordered a complete set.

Are the Rear shock bushes (Top only I think) subject to wear? As I use to have a Specialized Endurow which used to eat top shock bushes.

Got a big ride coming up and can't stand the thought of a creak for 200 miles :-).

Cheers Karl

Yes, they wear out too. Sods law I bought 2 sets before my 2010 Anthem frame snapped and the 2013 version uses larger fixings. Any decent LBS will be able to order the parts. I got them from a none Giant dealer.

Offset bushings do a replacement top bush for £10 which'll give you a wee bit more slack if you like.
