sorry no good at providing links ! pistonheads favourite dealer in Holland - www.targetcars.eu has a 1991 diablo with 55k kms for €159,500. - interesting black with red leather .seems it came from Austria originally but is dutch reg. assume as usual with these guys - no warranty or aftersales back up. would you risk it !!
you are obviously not familiar with targets business model ! they often buy cars on the net sight unseen and do no preparation whatsoever ! this car isn't exactly cheaply priced but it will stay for sale at this price for as long as it takes to sell and might even go up in price the longer it is for sale with them !!

Earlier or later cars to be worth more?
My bet would be earlier. No power steering, manual, pop up headlights, no airbags. 900 cars vs c1800 all together. Obviously with Miuras it's the SV, with Countach the early ones. About as many Countaches altogether as Diablos.

early cars closer to Countach, but old style frame and panels still evident in Murcielago, which is is effectively a updated Diablo (early Diablos carried over effectively a lot of the late Countach bits, as did the early Murcis from the Diablo).
General consensus on the different versions is something like:
SE30 (150 cars built), GT (80 cars built) will be most wanted in the future
6.0, SV, Roadster will be next most wanted
A late 99 SV with the smaller steering wheel (and power steering) is very direct to drive, and certainly doesn't feel like its got power steering. My own opinion.
Their were just over 2000 Countach's built from 1974 to 1990, and the Diablo was around 3000 from 1991 to 2001. Audi took over in 1999, hence the 6.0 are reputedly better built - as they have the same basic construction, I for one are wary that they are significantly better put together, as Chrysler introduced Total Quality systems in 1988 when they took over Lamborghini.
They are fairly basic construction, and not of the normal mass production quality you'd find in Ferrari's of the same era.

Speaking to those that know these things, it was felt that an early car was worth £65 - £75k, a LHD possibly a touch less. Plus the £3 -4000 for the lighter clutch conversion so you can actually drive them !
Over the past few months all the cars on Autoscout / Mobil.de have gone up massively in price the cars at €85 - €100k have gone and they now start at €150k. There was a yellow car where the owner had cover the interior with beads and appeared to have painted the black seats yellow, that was hovering around €100k for a long time and last week it jumped to €199,000 ! There was a Strosek kitted car in Switzerland for €100k but the body kit wasn't for me and it would get caught with VAT when you brought it in.
The Early LHD cars at Kahn seem to have jumped from £89k to £139k in the space of a week !
Sods law dictates that when you don't have the money they are £50,000, but in the space of 18 months now that I have the money they have jumped £100k plus !
The Purple SV at Simon Furlonger has been up for £149,000 for a long time, but I doubt they would consider a cheeky £75,000 offer....

yes the prices are all over the place and VVS and Kahn are trying their best to monopolise the prices... nice tactic that, buy in 3 -4 left handers and hack the price up knowing that UK only has 3 -4 for sale at any given time...
I would rather jump over to Germany and bring one back myself than buy inflated off these guys.
I see the pair above have also brought some other thinks like Murcies et all LHD back to flog here. But question is, how many people over here would buy a LHD car? I would and have done but any ideas what the consensus is on here?
