100% Shareholder but not a Director - Advantageous?
Discussion
This is possible right, any reason why this can't be the case? You could own a company and have some one else Direct it without issues.
Reason for asking is that with new mortgage rules making life very difficult for company directors, would it would be beneficial to be a 100% owner of a company, so all dividends come direct to you but not a Director of said company. So you'd have no PAYE income but you'd have another source of income which you could prove for 3 years plus which more than cover your mortgage. Would that make life easier or harder?
Just a discussion I'm having with a friend, neither of us claim to know the answer, the wisdom of PH should be able to advise?
