sorry if this is the wrong place to post this (newbie), its really motorsport history rather than current.



It is a lovingly restored and race prepared Porsche 911 RSR IROC. And it was driven to victory by Mark Donohue in his ‘retirement’ race at Daytona in 1974 just months before his death in early 1975.

Sure is a beauty, always great to see restorations of pieces of history

Lovely - I have a photo of Donohue filling up his black Carrera RS in a petrol station near Northampton ! We had both been at the International Trophy at Silverstone in Spring 1975 - but he was working ..

Wonderful car and wonderful driver. Would love to see it at Goodwood.
MD actually died 19 August 1975.....not early 1975
