Fly squashed in book!

Someone must have been doing a similar topic as me at uni as I've had to read half the books I have out of the library through various pencil scrawlings all over them...the worst thing I've just discovered as I opened one book is a squased fly! Flat as anything but gross! Not just a little one either! ewwwwwwwww!

I can watch disections and stuff but squished stuff makes me cringe!!!

Garibaldi biscuits were the ones that looked like light-coloured shiny rivita with raisans in them.

Only when I was a lad we used to call them 'squashed fly' biscuits and your post made me think of that.

As for the biscuit references, it just seems to be a mildy amusing PH fad over the past few days.
