Hi
My son gets a new bike next week, and my daughter is looking to take over his old one after a re-spray from Orange, but she would like the black rims / gold Hope hubs from her existing bike as by sons bike has white rims with black Hope hubs.
Her current bike has Fox 36 forks / Hope hubs with the larger shaft, where as my sons old bike has Fox 34's.
Am I right in assuming that if I swap the bearings over it will convert one hub / shaft size / fixing method to another?
The outers of both hubs look identical so at the moment it looks to be possible.
Any help appreciated

Depends which Hope hubs you've got.
I've got Hope XCs on my hardtail. They're absolutely lovely - nicer and, by all accounts, more durable than the Hope Pro II on my son's bike, but they're 9mm QR only, whereas for the Pro II and later, there are conversion kits for around £15-20, such as this one.
