The Calm Before the Storm

This is the worst part of Le Mans for me, sitting at work between meetings watching this forum filled with like mined excited grown men. Yet it’s not filled anymore as 99% are now there or on your way there, and I’m still at work 

Oh well this time tomorrow I should be well on my way through France, but it still seems like a lifetime away. Till 5am tomorrow it’s back to radio Le Mans.

Whoops sorry, I hadn’t thought about that, rather insensitive of me sorry chaps. You have my sincere condolences, I’ll raise a glass tomorrow night for those brave few left behind.

In a strange way you’ve made me feel better, but I do concede all this irrelevant post has achieved is to make most people still here feel worse. I’ll get my coat……..

Its alright fella, whilst I wont be there this year, I'll be hoping for this years race to be a proper wet one so at least its out of the way before my comeback in 2016.

Could be for an interesting race, last year it was dry on sat and most of night but got wet in the sunday i think.

I cant go, but have free weekend with fiance away so next best thing for man day

Now we're talking, this is what Le Mans memories are made of.
Hope its a good race, we got a little damp down at Mulsanne corner last year... Was mad seeing the rain on the big screens at Tetre Rouge and hearing of the spinners at the 1st chicaine whilst it was hot and sunny a mile down the road.
