Does it need to be working and do you want to keep it?

Don't know if you need to match up the bezzels too, but they're standard 52/80mm dials aren't they? So if the bezzel doesn't matter, you can get cheap place holders from any breakers/autojumble.

There's some funny business with the precat dash. The instruments don't slide in from the front of the dash and butt up against the bezel - the hole in the dash is as wide as the bezel itself and the bezel front surface is flush with the dash surface. Goodness knows why...it's the reason precat instruments have a tendency to fall down the back of the dash!

For this reason I suspect the bezel does matter - UNLESS you're going for 'bezel-butt-up' style a la 500? At least this would stop the instrument disappearing if the mounting breaks away.

Thanks all basicaly the pre cat dash is were the dials go in from the front and 4 poxy glued brackets hold them in place, i require some old gages so i can weld in a newly modified complete circle which will hold these guages perfect without the damm poxy glue breaking of in the future, all i need is 1 spedo or rev clock, 1 clock (tick tock one) and an oil or other, basicaly their are 3 different sizes, with the old guage inserted in and flush i can trimm the new metel clasp to sise and tack weld the fixing points and vola.
as the spatter or heat would dammage the gage i require old ones smashed glass broken needel etc does not matteer as long as the body and bezzel is perfect.
Btw found a nice pice of new wallnut.

BB going to le mann so needs must and all of that eh!
Steve.
