Hello there. I'm advertising a Porsche at the moment, and have just received 3 demands for payments for the ad, if i don't pay within 24hrs the ad will be deleted...wtf is this all about? I look at the number of Porsche ads and they are greatly reduced. When I put my ad up I got a free ad as I was a longtime member. can anyone from PH enlighten me?

I just received the same email. I am also a long term member with free advert privileges.
I clicked on the link where it asked for my log in details. The website is not legitimate, do not enter any information!

It's clever criminals after your information!

Fraud Warnings said:
The suggestion to use the fraudulent PistonHeads payment service is usually offered via e-mail, and is sent using an official-looking e-mail that mentions PistonHeads throughout. Again, we stress that this is not genuine and you should not proceed. If you are ever in doubt about whether or not an e-mail is genuine, please forward it to adverts@pistonheads.com for confirmation.
I am forwarding the email now...

I am not sure. However I have had a few email queries, which originally come from PistonHeads. I reply to these directly (not through PistonHeads). Once I've replied, they have my email.

Maybe all communication should be through PistonHeads. Like eBay do...

I've thought so too. Never really comfortable replying to a PM because of this.
