How tighten hub nut

There's probably a simple solution but I've not stumbled across it.

How do you torque up the hub nut without the driveshaft turning?

I've got 3 corners on the floor but still turns due to gkn diff. Do I have to put bar in universal joint to lock it? :0

Get someone to hold the footbrake, and maybe put the wheel back on and lower it to the ground as well - works on Wedges anyway.
