Nice!
Can you be more specific about 'Renault recommissioning'?!
Nothing too exciting... I could have taken it to a V6 'specialist' Indy but with the service book having no stamps in it (had never been serviced with the low mileage - was delivered to me on a low-loader) I thought it best it went back to a Renault Main Dealer. Although more expensive and possibly less experienced with these, they could put a dealer stamp in the book. Can you be more specific about 'Renault recommissioning'?!
I've been shaking it down today after a new cambelt, tensioners, water pump, aux belt, engine oil, gearbox oil, power steering fluid, brake fluid, coolant etc. All rubber parts were in good condition (it drives like a new car, which isn't a big surprise) though it will be getting new boots.
It makes a seriously nice noise when you have dialed in a few revs. Although it's not the quickest car in the world (they're heavy) it really does have a sense of occasion. This is No. 002, which is pretty cool and I am the second owner. Although the press would have you believe they are trying to kill you every time you turn the wheel - I have no problems at all.

Let's hope you don't live to regret that comment!
