Strange goings on

I've just recently put car back together after body off job on Chassis. Car passed MOT - amazed!! However, heard a strange noise from rear drivers side when out today - got home to discover that the rear tyre was rubbing on the body. I adjusted the rear shock absorber to give higher clearance. After a test drive the clearance has reduced again - has anyone ever experienced the adjustment nut backing off. I've got protech shock absorbers. I'm tempted to adjust it back up but with locktite - any thoughts??

If its new springs then they can settle for a few miles...Would be very unlikely that the preload adjusters could unwind.

It is not new springs so unless they relax during the time that they were not under load - I'll have a look and see if the tension nut has unwound
