Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase a O/S mirror glass for a '00 (X reg) Mitsubishi Galant, other than going through the main dealer.

Thanks SN. I've just given Halfwits a call, and they only do the stick on glass.I need a complete new glass so that the heater will work.

You could try one of the specialist Jap breakers in the back of The Autotrader.

Depending on the way the mirror is held (and how it is heated), the heater should still work.

I had the same problem on one of my Punto GTs. GF's football mad little brother smashed the mirror and Fiat wanted £170 odd for a complete mirror assembly!! I just pulled the mirror off of its frame (plastic bit on back of mirror), stuck on a Halfrauds one, and everything was fine (elec adjustment and heater worked fine)..... saved me £160!!
