Yes and from the price offered I am keeping it.
I wanted the latest with 600 BHP but not at silly money, they wanted 23K and mine mine is mint as well with low miles, I will keep it now.

Over the past 15 years, I have bought 5 BM's from Barons Farnborough plus 3 Minis for the Galactic Emperor. I have found them pretty competitive but I don't know if they'd match some of the deals that some have quoted on PH.

I keep looking nationwide for deals, Lister's usually come up trumps, wait and see i suppose.

Good luck with the search, although I think you will struggle to get the cost of change down significantly from the figure above. We all know the value of these cars drop like rocks unfortunately.

Which begs the question of how valuable an extra 25 (or so) HP is worth - given you can rarely (if ever) use the full power of these cars on British roads.

Hopefully I'm proved wrong and you can find a dealer who is desperate to make their quota and willing to cut you a great deal!

You do make good sense and I should "stick with my car", that's probably the way forward, I do have service pack as well so that takes some pain away.

I always dealt with a Guy called Jonathan when he was at Vines in Redhill, and the last time I dealt with him he'd moved to Hindhead.

Top Guy and will look after you if he's still there.

Spoke to him yesterday, needed a sit down after the ste offer for my Mint car.
To be fare to him, he did not give me any bull. We both laughed at the price to change TBH.
