I had a similar problem with a Porsche.

It normally means that one of the sensors is playing up, and the easiest way to tell it you simply disconnect each sensor one at a time as the clips simply unplug at the rear of each sensor and engage reverse and when the beeping is 'normal' you have then found the faulty culprit.

They simply swap out and I'm sure somebody else can advise on a cheaper source for the part than direct from Aston.

Hope that helps.

I assume they are the same as a V8V and mine play up on a seldom but regular basis. It seems to be related to dirt or wax blocking the sensor, so a good wipe with a microfiber normally sorts it. Taking the bumper off a V8V is a pain by the way, not sure if the DB9 is any easier.

You can listen for a faint click. Obviously a two person job for an auto (can it be put in reverse without the engine running?)

The one that isn't clicking is at fault. I use a mechanics stethoscope which makes it easier to hear.
