Hi All

Well at the weekend I finally bought my first Trevor.
It's a 52 plate registered 22/1/03 so it's a late one.
Drive it 200 miles in the pissing rain on Saturday night and it did t miss a beat.
Are there any other owners up here in Scotland?

Good stuff, not much fun doing 200 miles in the rain. Need summer to arrive in Scotland! I am based in Livingston and have a 4.0 1995 Chimaera owned for 14 years but yet to make it to a TVR meeting at Broomhall Castle, must do one this year....

Well if there is anything you need know and are too afraid to take the car apart to check, mine is currently in many pieces while I do a ground up restoration you want a look.

Thanks man, I do need a sump pan but they seem to be in short supply. Any ideas where in might get one? was thinking about TVR Glen????

TVR Glen would probably want to sell you an engine with it.
We could get your one cleaned, repaired and painted if nothing else comes along.

Bought my first 2 TVR's from that very village a long time ago.
That's where the Brandon Motor Company, Scotland's only Tvr Dealership was based. Did you grow up there?

Welcome to the fold Gareth.
That is a late chim you have there and probably in the last 20 registered. I think there were only 6 registered after 01/04/03 on the '03 plate'.
I keep mine on the road all year but must admit to looking at the weather forecast before driving it!!. I only do a few thousand miles a year so what's the point in doing them in the rain, right. Great fun cars. Just got back from North Yorks Moors last week and put 600 miles on her with 2 of us, 2 dogs on the parcel shelf and a boot full of stuff. Even seeing another chim on the roads these days is becoming an increasingly rare event! enjoy your new car.
