I'm thinking of getting some sort of camcorder but I don't know much about them.

What I'd like is ideally is something that;

1. Doesn't cost the earth
2. Small
3. Expandable enough to allow a bullet can to be plugged in
4. Possibly completely digital with Firewire and/or USB

Can anybody suggest anything like this?

You can get some absolute corkers of a camcorder for about 350/400 notes these days...

EXAMPLE
£350 for a Canon700i... all the toys, nice fit in the hand. I had the 350i or 400i and it was fab...

Spend about £550 and you'll get an even smaller one with more toys.

Whats yee budget?

I needed a camera with analogue in (for the bullet cam) and am well pleased with the Sony TRV33E (It must be the E to connect the bullet).

Just got a Sony HC40E before Christmas.
So far I'm fairly impressed (I don't normally like Sony).
Firewire, USB, Analogue In, LANC for a wired remote and all for 400 beer tokens.
Seeing as it seemed such a bargain I went and got an RFConcepts bullet cam to go with it.
