Still not having much luck finding something that suits my wrists. Just moved house so available funds are limited. Seen people referring to vintage Omega's/Tags available about the £500-600 mark. Can anyone recommend a dealer(s) to go and look at? Anywhere between Birmingham and London ideally?

I'm not 100% on what I want. I do like a chrono, big fan of the Tag Monaco, Chopard Jacky Ickx, Tudor Monte Carlo, but also like the look of a vintage seamaster and Rolex Air King. Obviously those are all out of price range but should give an idea of my tastes? I looked at a couple of Tissots in Goldsmiths the other day, but at 42mm they look lost on my wrists.

So if anyone can recommend any watches, or and dealers to visit where I can try on some different pieces it would be much appreciated. Thanks smile

Page And CooperHave some interesting watches in your price range. I'd suggest Autodromo based on the watches you have mentioned.

Don't rush into getting something for the sake of it – take your time and use it to learn more about the brands out there.
Use the like of Chrono24 to see ones you've never heard of, won't typically see in UK stores.
With taking your time, you'll be able to add to the budget, opening yourself to a wider array of options, and one that you fancied initially, may end up being a non-starter because its appeal has been replaced with something else.

So, just relax and the right one will make itself known to you in due course.

Thanks for the input guys. Craikey the Prototipo is a damn fine shout, a lovely looking thing. Also turned these up yesterday which are definitely on the shortlist too: https://omologato.myshopify.com/collections/the-ra...

Still can't help thinking I should try and find somewhere that has a vintage Omega to try on before pushing the button though... Maybe a trip to the Jewelery Quarter is required.

Ah yes, I've seen the Omologato ones on Twitter, but couldn't remember the name.
