Price offered on 2012 tfsi black edition on series three TT
Discussion
Paid around £31,000 for the above in Oct 2012 (private buy - traded in my previous TT)
when in feb this year £18,000 against a new series three TT at £32,000 speedline front wheel drive
Car had only done 13,250 miles by then
The following day the sales chap who I bought two previous from said they could raise the price to £19,000
Stuff that for a game of soldiers
Went and bought a older car from another German maker
Got £20,000 for the TT

So you got more for your PX against a used car? Not a shocker, used cars have profit margins built into the prices (and some people over price so they can give better PX prices) whereas the new cars don't normally have as much in them.when in feb this year £18,000 against a new series three TT at £32,000 speedline front wheel drive

In the end it matters not what you get for your car, but it does matter what you pay to change for your new one!

The only part of that post that I understood was that you paid £31k for an A5 Black Edition in October 2012. That makes me feel better as I only paid £25k for mine (it was 6 months old at the time).
So what point are you trying to make?
That buying a new euro box costs moneySo what point are you trying to make?
