Have a spare cam cover for my BMW S14 engine so have it hanging on the garage wall along with another and was thinking it would make a good bit of garage art to add some more. So lets hear your top five as little works of art.

Alfa twin cam

Citroen BX/Pug 405 Mi16 (magnesium casting)

Some 60s aftermarket ones from Ford crossflows were rather nice

Lotus twin cam

There's bound to be some more exotic ones out there, but these ought to be reasonably realistic. The Lotus one is probably silly money by now but I guess the beauty of garage art is that a broken one would do suitable tarted up?

In first place the early polished Jaguar XK cams (much nicer than the later black ribbed ones)
The Aston six cylinder engine isn't bad looking either

I also really like the iconic Cosworth yb. I am about to refurb my spare and put it on the wall.

I always thought the griff500 TVR covers were cool as they were all purple.

Five's a lot OP, even you have only posted one. Here's my suggestion from the MGA Twin Cam, the same engine, incidentally, that powered EX181 to 254.9 mph, that's over 4 miles a minute from 1500 cc!



Of course I rather like the polished ones as fitted to my car...



then there's the Bentley cam cover which is a work of art in my eyes!
