Dear Collective

Ive a Christopher ward mechanical watch that progressively ran slower and now doesn’t run. Its somewhat sentimental and I'm inclined to have it fixed. I wonder if anyone has any recommendations of a good repairer? Happy to post the watch on. A CW isn't the pinnacle of horological excellence but none the less it pains me to have it sat not working.

Yours

For some reason my previous post suggesting Variomatic was deleted. cheers.

Another vote for Variomatic. He recently did a great job on my Seiko, fast turnaround ,kept me informed of the progress and I highly recommend him.

Typical foreigner - has no idea what that road between N and S Wales is like. laugh It's actually quicker to divert into Engerland via Chester & down the M6 than to take the "direct" route!

Thanks for the recommendations btw smile

OP, Chris Ward stuff is well made and honestly priced. Personally, I can think of a lot of bigger name brands that would come a lot further down my shopping list.
