Suprised there's no thread on this yet, or I'm blind!

Downloaded it last night but have yet to try. I'm hearing the gameplay is more G2 / G3 with G1 maps?

Loved the Gears single player but I was spectacularly st at the mulitplayer. Improved a bit as the games went on but whether it was playing on a st connection or me just not understanding the shotgun but it never seemed to do anything for me where as when I was shot I'd explode into a million pieces.

Got a code for the beta but I don't think I'll bother.

I've got the beta code, but I'll only play it a bit in the hopes of getting something cool for doing so, I've never enjoyed GoW competitive MP, it's always felt like a load of clunky rubbish to me. Horde mode was always a favourite though, hours of fun on that.

I also loved GoW, but watching that at 60FPS, i do feel a bit disorientated.
I was also under the impressions that the XBone couldn't do 60FPS?

It's like playing gears 3 on the gears 1 maps. NO party / invite options.

Gears 1 MP was great fun. I played LOTS and LOTS of it. It was never about rank.

One of those games you could just throw in, guarantee atleast 3 / 4 friends would be on and play, having a right royal laugh.

Hopefully the private game / lobby system will make it more fun.

And i'm sure they've made the snipers less accurate

I feel your pain - I was on the receiving end of many a roadie run/forward roll/gnasher combo
