Dear Collective

Ive a Christopher ward mechanical watch that progressively ran slower and now doesn’t run. Its somewhat sentimental and I'm inclined to have it fixed. I wonder if anyone has any recommendations of a good repairer? Happy to post the watch on. A CW isn't the pinnacle of horological excellence but none the less it pains me to have it sat not working.

Close to you ( Anglesey ) is PH member Variomatic. Joe did a cracking job on my Seiko, fast turn around kept me informed each step of the way and an all round top bloke. Even though I'm the other side of the UK it was sent by post ( signed for) with no problems. Came with a 1 year warranty on the repair as well.

Give him a shout ( or pm me for his details).

Cheers
Pete
