Anyone else here frustrated at not being able to get the toy out of the garage for a hoon...!?

Weathers nasty, roads covered in mud, gritters out at regular intervals...

I long for a nice day just to let the ol' girl stretch her legs.

Yep, especially as the longer it sits, I know the greater the chances are that the battery will be flat when I can get out!

it's a shame they don't design cars that can be used outside and in these types of conditions.

it's a car, get out and drive it.

Yeah funny that… strangely mine seems to survive anything the weather throws at it…

Yep - cant argue should get out in it more...

What I suppose I should have thought about and mentioned is:

I work shifts - too knackered to speak let alone drive sometimes.
I then work a 'manwithavan' service on my rest days so am out in the transit.
Cant fit the drumkit under the bonnet when going to rehearsals, so again leave at home tucked up in the garage.
I draw the line at driving on freshly gritted roads...I just cant do it!

I'm frustrated not by the weather but because I just don't have the time to drive the thing. I get a tube into work and evenings and weekends are taken up with domestic responsibilities at home. I get a weekly 2 hour blast if I'm lucky, 'on the way' to the supermarket.

Lovely Porker you've got there Popov, very nice!

I've been using mine in the slimy conditions but I to draw the line at freshly gritted roads.

The Caterham will be back on the 7th Feb so I'm enjoying the Sierra at the moment and feeling my way into that and great fun that it is too!

Toy - carpet partially removed to diagnose water ingress (wet drivers side footwell - still baffled as it seems to come from bl**dy nowhere); passenger seat and stereo head unit removed - head unit, RCA cable and one amp will be sent out to rectify problem of sounding $hit

Tool - looking like a (road) salted herring; fortunately pretty good for a toy as well as a tool, but I only do business/commuter miles in it

Back up car - stranded me last weekend when the cat fell out under it. Sorted now

Get out and use it, I went out in this yesterday evening, not far though, only about 5 miles. But I did use it.

Toy 1: no tax, and a bath on top of it

Toy 2: no tax, flat tyre. However it is facing the road and the gates are open...

When you said "no wings", I had something else in mind:

Ain't that the truth - I hate it. Keep watching the weather but it stinks!
