M20 J7 roundabout, there was a fully aluminium e-type (or at least e-type style) body shell being towed on a trailer. Bare alu, it looked brand new, and possibly with some additional adornments over a standard e-type. I only got a very quick look as it was going in a different direction to me. Could almost have been one of the "missing six" but I can't imagine how a body shell would end up down in Kent. Just curious!

Yes, that's what it put me in mind of, the "missing six" lightweights, but what would a bare body shell be doing in Kent? I thought these were built start to finish at Brown's Lane?

What was that £500k thing that Clarkson drove?
