Breitling service history

I'm soon to be a proud owner of a pre-owned Navitimer, It comes with all the paperwork and warranty card etc but the service book is empty. The watch was manufactured in 1992 and appears to be running fine (my wife is keeping hold of it for now as its a b day present) and seems in pretty good nick, so I'm assuming it's been looked after and probably serviced.

My question is, is there a way of checking with breitling the service history? Is it just a case of ringing them up or do I write to head office?
