Post Infection Knackeredness
Discussion
I had a chest infection a few weeks ago. It cleared up with antibiotics. Ever since then I have felt quite tired regardless of the amount of sleep. I train (or did) quite often but since then one session leaves me absolutely wiped the next day.
Is this normal? Does it just pass after a while. I remember years ago after having glandular fever I couldn't walk up the stairs without needing to sit down. It isn't as bad as that but is a annoying.
I don't feel like I am still un well. No symptoms.

I had a naughty chest infection at the beginning of the year, had three weeks off work with a long course of antibiotics, shading on chest x-Ray etc etc. It finally cleared after about a month but felt exactly like you do for another 3 or 4 weeks after that point. All perfectly normal by all accounts, your body has taken a battering and will need time to recover, I was told in no uncertain terms by the Doc to stay away from the gym until I felt completely right.
