Having read about them a hundred times I thought it time I drove them- so a few days ago I took my 991 there for a spin, my friend came in his Elise and we had a blast....the Nufenen pass in particular was fantastic-didn't see another car on it....we went on a weekday morning which I assume helps.I doubt I'll ever have a better day's driving......at the top of the Susten pass four 1920's era Bentleys went cruising by which was nice to see.....

Great pictures and agree that those passes are fantastic, I'm off there in a few weeks. I'm also a big fan of the 991 GTS, great looking car, I hear they drive very well as well, could be my next car.

Did a similar trip in my Mini GP a couple of years ago, along with a friend in a GT3 RS, great fun and roads pretty quiet at end of September.

Some video here hopefully : https://www.dropbox.com/s/cb91dmq11vly356/Euro%20T...

I can't recommend the 991 GTS highly enough- I was slightly apprehensive before pulling the trigger (because of the expense) but I'm glad I bought it-there's simply nothing to fault with it IMHO....it feels more special than the Carrera S models I test drove- the handling is superb....and easier to live with as a regular driver than a GT3....
