Does anyone know the part number of a genuine Bosch ignition coil so that I can order it locally?

Thanks.

I've fitted one recently and still have the box - the Bosch part number is 0 221 122 392 and then there's an extra sticker with GI 14050132 and PRC6574G - no idea what the G means smile

This one on ebay suggests that there may be more than one type of PRC6574:

Thanks for those part numbers. With dealers charging £8.50 P&P it's worth buying locally if pos.

I think the G is genuine, ie not a copy, ie stpart.

I reckon the ebay seller has got his (ignition) wires crossed. 'Tis a Lucas system, but that coil is made by Bosch. Complete Bosch systems replacing the old Lucas stuff were only fitted on the late P38 Range Rovers as far as I know.

Bosch and Lucas coils are both used pre P38 - the Bosch is the more reliable. Even the old ECU was a Bosch design with a Lucas badge on it.
