Probably a daft question, but is the LS1 PCV solenoid also a valve? I want to attach the pipes the other way around so I can move the solenoid back a bit in the engine bay...if I can't reverse the pipes then I'll have to extend the loom. I unzipped the conduit earlier only to find little/no slack in the wires I wanted to move back.

Why not convert it to ls6 setup all your pipe work goes.

I think I have LS6 setup, that just means valley to intake, TB to drivers' valve cover doesn't it? I probably mispoke, I mean the purge solenoid thing going from the intake to the hard line to the charcoal canister.

e: yes, I mean EVAP. Said it was a daft question!

Yes sounds like a ls6 setup.

The evap being on the passenger side. You can delete it it's not needed. Just vent via a filter.

But as you say it is just a solenoid setup so can be altered or reversed as long as it cents to something with no positive pressure off throttle.

Whether I can indeed reverse the EVAP solenoid was the intended question - I'm not sure if it's got a directional valve in it. If I can reverse it I think there's just enough slack to mount it above where coil #7 would go, but if I'm hacking at the loom anyway then it will go on the firewall. It weighs nothing and is good for the environment so it seems a bit unnecessary to remove it (Sturdy in 3...2...1... hehe)...does the fuel tank have a breather anyway? If it does I'd be more tempted to cap it off, but I don't really want the breather up front.
