2011 Seat Ibiza TDI Central Locking

Hi,
I have been reading the PH forums to see if I could find a fix to the problem I have but couldn't find any, or I'm just blind, so here goes,
I have had the seat for just over 2 weeks, when I first had it I was just given the spare key, and had to wait for the central locking key to arrive, once it did some guy from the AA came to my house and sync' the key to my car.
When I tried it out there and then it worked fine, but now when I lock the car using the central locking key the drivers door won't lock, but all other doors do, it's driving me mad! I've tried pressing the locking button once - didn't work, I tried twice - didn't work, 3 times - it didn't work, I think you get the jist of it. So eventually I just end up manually locking the car.
Unlocking is not a problem, just press the unlock button once and all doors open. Is there anybody out there who has a solution? Or am I just plain stupid?!
Trying to read the cars manual book is impossible as none of it actually makes sense!
