Just Yes or No....

Do you believe the main reason for a US presence in the middle east is oil?

Do you believe the perpetrators of 9/11 have been brought to justice?

Do you believe the people of Iraq will ever be free?

Yup all to do with oil, but also establishing US pre-eminence in the middle east to strengthen grip on oil production.... now it's Iran (who have huge reserves of oil)

No.... Al Qaeda will never be caught, as it doesn't actually exist. There are just loose groups of disparate fanatics, no hidden mountail lair with a super villain... all an American created lie to instill fear, so they can exert draconian levels of control

No Iraqi people will never see democracy, in our lifetimes. It will be a bloody civil war with the result being the fracture of Iraq into 3 countries.

No
Yes, but not in countries present form, and not for 20 or so years.

Not for the people who will be killed in the ensuing war to create the country and the resulting wars, from the 3 newly born republics, with external intervention from the US and Iran...... who both have nukes......

More WMD fantasies. Iran does not have nukes. What they have is the potential to produce sufficient enriched uranium to run a reactor which could then produce weapons grade plutonium... given about ten years.

No doubt Dubbya will be twirlin' his six guns and smokin' 'em out before they get that far.

Oh, and to answer the poll.

YES: of course the oil, and to protect the Saudi Regime from the religious lot. The Saud own 7.8% of the U.S. economy, and have trillions stashed in U.S. banks, as Michael Moore pointed out.

NO: The perpetrators mostly weighed themselves in the blance before their God on the day. The backup team have melted away.

YES: When the oil has run out and they are bedouin again.

you're right of course, Iran doesnt have nukes, yet, but then again, they do have a big army, which isnt afraid to fight. If people are shocked at the numbers of troops who have died in this conflict, any potential conflict with Iran will produce massive casualties on both sides.
