I did the Grande, found it very tough! Great event though. Had a big off on a tempting corner after Postbridge, shredded my new Morvelo shorts and my knees. Bike survived...

is that the down hill with a sharpish left? camera man sat in the ferns taking pics? if so, i nearly joined you. said cameraman was to his feet and running before i got it sorted out smile hope you heal up quick, shame about the shorts.
i did the grande last year, and fond it about 10 miles too long. the medio is great as you can attack the whole way around. highly recommended for those who fancy a challenge.

Yep did the Grande as well, lots of climbing ( Dartmoor, who'd have thought it... ) with a tough headwind for the outward leg, but all good from then on.

MDCC always organise it well, hence its popularity and the need to get your entry in on the day they release the spaces!

I was marshalling on the Grande route then rode back from Princetown. Was a lovely day.

Sounds like the corner! Photographer was up for me too, I didn't ask if got any pics! The attached doesn't show how steep it is, but I hit 79 km/h before the bend.

The Grande is a long tough ride, my Strava suffer score was 485, only bettered by Everesting Boxhill at 703eek

My Brother in law did it.

Seems to have enjoyed all 107 miles.
