Oil leak, not sure it's RMS.
Discussion
2007 boxster S I'm considering buying from a pal.
It's got a reasonable oil leak which at first look might be RMS. I have had the luxury of investigating the source and having taken the engine cover off see that oil is present around the R/H upper engine area. I think it's the area around the oil air seperator. (I think). The r/h (drivers side) of the engine has lots of oil present, the other side is totally dry.
I didn't have the time or expertise to investigate further, but could this be a likely cause rather than it being the rms?
