Spring at the 'Ring

Morning all,

I fancy a trip to the 'Ring sometime around March/April, was wondering if anyone had plans to go?

I know Daz is a 'Ringer...

I'm waiting for the calendar to be published before planning my year but I hope to do 5 or 6 trips this year. Perhaps we can set up a PH Calendar so that members know who's going to be there and when.

Used to be. Having problems getting insurance coverage in writing.

During the last Rolling Road Day I spoke to a guy (not from PH) that knew the chap that rolled his M3 last August. If you remember the chap spent the night in hospital after taking out 30,000 euros of barriers. He was insured with L & V who obviously took the accepted view that the 'ring is a toll road as they paid for the lot. I think the only thing you're likely to get in writing (if you push it) is a refusal to cover it.

Well being as my car is stored over there from March.......theres a good chance I will be over there in March or April

................and May, June, July, August, September, October.

I believe there's a Virginia Waters meeting on 20th Feb

Every year I promise myself a Spa trackday, but every year the budget says no Who knows, maybe ths will be the year

I managed to squeeze in another Ring trip last year, so it would be a shame not to in this one

No dates yet, but it will happen this year...preferably spring / summertime.
