Have an upcoming French roadtrip and using a Liber-t tag for the first time in the Gallardo.

Sanef site suggests to the left bottom corner of the section directly behind the rear view mirror to ensure it gets picked up. Before I go sticking it around that area has anybody used one in theirs and confirm it works ok? Cheers!

I'm not sure there's anything special about placement in a Gallardo. Behind the mirror works fine in my Porker.

Thanks. I thought it'd be fairly standard in placement to be fair but wanted to check before sticking it on.

Just been to Le Mans in my Gallardo.

As always, by the Mirror ON THE DRIVERS SIDE. Worked perfectly every time.

Common error seems to be putting the tag too low or on the passenger side of the mirror. but it always works best in a RHD car on the drivers side not surprisingly.

Mine is on the black bit just above the mirror. I just followed the instructions for a change.

Mine are all on the left side of the area behind the mirror (out of my view) and work fine. Vehicles with heat reflective screens are problematic, as are high ones.

The 20km/h lanes have better scanner placement and are best for troublesome vehicles in my experience.

Only trouble I ever had in previous cars was having the detector on the left side of the mirror. Out of your sight but the wrong side in a LHD car.
